BornFit's Inspirational Mom, Lisa Druxman "Lisa realized there was a need for specialty 'mom' fitness!" Because of our passion for getting moms fit and healthy, we cannot gush enough about Lisa Druxman and her wonderful accomplishments! Lisa is the founder and CEO of Stroller Strides, the country's largest fitness program for moms. In 2001, after working in the fitness industry for over 12 years, she gave birth to her son. Not having time to make it to the gym, Lisa got outside with her stroller and created a series of exercises to get her back into shape. As Oprah would say, this was her 'lightbulb' moment. Lisa realized there was a need for specialty 'mom' fitness and before you know it, a new workout was born! Lisa knew she could help other moms get back in shape and she liked the social support aspect of the group. Word started to spread around the country and Lisa franchised the business. Stroller Strides is now one of the fastest growing franchises in the country. Her company offers both Stroller Strides and Fit4Baby, their prenatal program, in nearly 1,000 locations nationwide.
